Rafa Leão Announces Departure from AC Milan 🔴⚫️

The era of Rafael Leão at the San Siro has officially come to an end. Following a challenging 2025/26 season where AC Milan failed to secure Champions League qualification, the 26-year-old Portuguese star has confirmed his intention to leave the club this summer.

A Final Farewell

Speaking in an interview with Sport TV, Leão expressed pride in his contributions to the club but emphasized his desire for a new chapter in his career.

"I'm proud because I made history at AC Milan, but I want a new chapter," Leão stated.

"I feel ready to play in another league. I gave my best for Milan, but it's time to try another challenge".

Looking Ahead

Leão has established himself as one of the world's most dangerous wingers since joining Milan in 2019, playing over 200 matches and leading the team to the 2021/22 Serie A title. While his next destination remains officially undecided, interest from top Premier League clubs—most notably Manchester United—is intensifying.

Transfer speculation suggests his valuation could now be around €43 million, making him an attractive target for several European giants looking to bolster their attacking ranks. For now, however, the forward is shifting his focus entirely to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he will represent Portugal.
