Head coach Carlo Ancelotti has named his 26-man Brazil squad for the October international friendlies against South Korea (October 14) and Japan (October 18), with several key stars making their return.

Vinícius & Rodrygo Back in the Squad

Real Madrid duo Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo headline the call-ups after missing the previous international break.

Vinícius, who served a one-match suspension last time, has been in brilliant form for Los Blancos, recording

three goals and four assists in seven La Liga matches.Rodrygo, dropped last month due to poor form and swirling exit rumours, has begun to rediscover his rhythm.

Despite not being a regular starter under Xabi Alonso, he already has two Champions League assists this season.

He recently credited Ancelotti for helping him bounce back from a difficult period.

Militao Returns, João Pedro Misses Out

Defender Éder Militão is included despite missing Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Kairat due to a minor ankle issue.

Chelsea forward João Pedro, however, is among the notable absentees. Ancelotti confirmed the 24-year-old has picked up a minor injury, ruling him out of the friendlies.

Big Names Missing Through InjuryBrazil will also be without several household names, including

Neymar, Raphinha, Marquinhos, and Alisson Becker, all sidelined through injury.

Nottingham Forest striker Igor Jesus has been handed a call-up, with Ancelotti praising his profile as a valuable addition ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
