Lamine Yamal's return from injury in time for El Clásico against Real Madrid on October 26, 2025.

Barcelona wonder kid Yamal had been dealing with pubic discomfort since the September international break.

After a brief return to action in a match against Paris Saint-Germain, the injury reemerged, and he was ruled out for 2–3 weeks, missing the matches against Sevilla and the October international break with Spain.

Targeting a specific match: FC Barcelona's medical staff set a recovery roadmap designed to have the 18-year-old winger fully fit for the El Clásico.

The club's handling of the situation is cautious, prioritizing his long-term health over rushing him back too soon.

Return-to-play strategy: Blogs reported that the plan is for Yamal to gradually return to action.

Some reports suggest he might see limited playing time against Girona on October 18 to regain his rhythm and confidence.

Available for El Clásico: Following his planned appearance against Girona, and the Champions League fixture against Olympiacos, Yamal is expected to be available for the crucial match against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Workload concerns: Concerns about Yamal's heavy workload at a young age were also a topic in sports blogs, with some noting he had more appearances before his 18th birthday than many other elite players.
