Désiré Doué is set for a lengthy absence, having suffered a muscle

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Désiré Doué is expected to miss several weeks due to a deep muscle tear in his right thigh. The injury occurred during PSG's 1-1 draw against FC Lorient on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Injury details

Cause: Doué pulled up with the injury while sprinting down the left wing in the 61st minute and had to be stretchered off the pitch.

Severity: Initial reporting from L'Équipe indicates a deep tear that will sideline him for several weeks, if not months.

Impact: He will miss the upcoming international break with the French national team and several key fixtures for PSG, including the Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

He missed a month of action with a calf injury suffered in September during international duty.

Following his return, the 20-year-old was in strong form, scoring two goals against Bayer Leverkusen

in the Champions League and another goal against Brest in Ligue 1.
