Europe’s top clubs are set to battle Real Madrid for Hertha Berlin teenage sensation Eichhorn.

Transfer rumours are swirling as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid reportedly battle for the signature of Hertha Berlin teenage midfielder Kennet Eichhorn. The 16-year-old German wonderkid has been turning heads with his performances in the 2. Bundesliga this season, attracting scouts from Europe's biggest clubs.

The chase for Eichhorn

Growing interest: According to reports from Bild (via Mundo Deportivo), scouts from Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and others have all been monitoring Eichhorn.

Transfer valuation: Hertha Berlin is reportedly willing to let the young midfielder go for around €20 million (£17m).

A "special case": Eichhorn's style of play has even drawn comparisons to Toni Kroos. While Kroos's brother Felix urged the teen to stay at Hertha for more years to develop, top European clubs appear eager to make a move.

Eichhorn's rise

Despite his young age, Eichhorn has been a regular for Hertha's senior team and made history by becoming the youngest-ever debutant in the 2. Bundesliga. His composure, positioning, and ball distribution have impressed onlookers, and he has appeared in eight league matches this season, helping his side to five wins.

What this means for the clubs

Manchester United: Reportedly eyeing Eichhorn as a talent for the future, with manager Ruben Amorim needing to rebuild the midfield.

Liverpool: Also tracking Eichhorn as part of their strategy to recruit top young talent.

Real Madrid: Continuing their trend of signing promising young players from around the world.

While a transfer in January is a possibility, Eichhorn cannot officially join a Premier League team until he turns 18. The ultimate destination for this highly-rated prospect remains uncertain, but the intense interest from top clubs suggests his future is bright.
