Ghana's Black Stars are set to embark on an Asian tour in November 2025, where they will participate in international friendly matches against Japan and South Korea.
This tour is planned as the team approaches securing a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to GBC Ghana Online.
The Black Stars are on the verge of qualifying for the tournament.
The matches are seen as crucial preparation for the World Cup and upcoming continental challenges.
Head coach Otto Addo is expected to use the tour to evaluate emerging talents and fine-tune team tactics, ensuring the squad is well-prepared for future challenges. Both Japan and South Korea have already secured their places in the 2026 World Cup,
and are expected to field strong squads, providing Ghana with a valuable test against high-caliber opposition.
Ghana will head into the international break following a decisive 5-0 win over the Central African Republic (CAR) in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
This win keeps Ghana at the top of Group I with 22 points.
Their next decisive qualifier against Comoros, which could officially seal their World Cup spot, is scheduled for Sunday.
