Battle for Marc Guéhi expected next summer

Several major European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Barcelona,

are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace center-back and England international, Marc Guéhi, in the summer of 2026 when his contract expires.

Bayern Munich has reportedly held initial discussions with Guéhi's representatives about a potential free transfer in 2026.

Liverpool, who came very close to signing Guehi on deadline day this past summer for £35 million, are expected to re-enter the race, especially considering his contract situation and the possibility of signing him for free.

However, sources suggest Liverpool could make an approach as early as January, particularly due to a recent ACL injury to defender Giovanni Leoni.

Real Madrid are also in the hunt for Guehi as a potential addition to their defense.

Barcelona has also reportedly stepped up their contact with Guehi amid the growing interest from these European giants.

Guéhi's contract with Crystal Palace expires in 2026, and negotiations for an extension have reportedly stalled.

Foreign clubs will be able to approach him to discuss a pre-contract agreement starting from January 1,

2026, giving them a significant advantage over Premier League clubs.
