Bayern Munich: Harry Kane Open to Contract Extension

Harry Kane has only been at Bayern Munich for just over a year, but the England captain is already considering extending his stay in Bavaria.

According to reports in Germany, the 32-year-old striker is open to signing a contract extension with the Bundesliga champions, despite his current deal running until 2027.

Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 for a club-record €100 million fee and has since lived up to expectations.

In his debut season, he scored over 40 goals in all competitions, instantly becoming the focal point of Bayern’s attack.

This season, under Vincent Kompany, Kane has continued his prolific form, leading the scoring charts both domestically and in the Champions League.

Sources suggest that Kane feels “settled” in Munich and is enjoying life both on and off the pitch. The club, for their part, are delighted with his impact and view him as a cornerstone of their medium-to-long-term project.

Bayern officials are expected to open formal talks over an extension in the coming months, with Kane likely to be offered improved terms to reflect his importance.

If agreed, the extension would all but end speculation about a Premier League return — something that had lingered since his Spurs departure.

For Bayern, securing Kane’s future would not only stabilize their frontline but also send a strong message of intent to rivals across Europe.
